Will It Be Magic or Mayhem? Mars Conjunct Neptune in Pisces Sun. 4/28

As Mars passes by Neptune in Pisces today, you have an opportunity to access magic and harness it towards making your dreams reality.  And, there's a catch, so let's discuss!

As Mars moves through the final degrees of Pisces it's passing by Neptune today.

Mars is ruler of Aries, the fire sign that is the sign of self.  Mars is all about motivation, drive, and self-assertion.  Pisces, on the other hand, is the mutable water sign, it's about going with the flow.

While Mars is the warrior and protector, Pisces is non-confrontational.  Pisces can be avoidant and escapist.

So when our warrior, Mars, is in Pisces, we can have a hard time going directly after what we want.  We might even have a hard time defining a strong sense of self and individualization.  Pisces wants to connect - it's all about the concept that we are all one, like drops of water in the ocean, while Mars is about the self.

As Mars and Neptune rendezvous in Pisces, the magic we can access is Mars boosting our drive and enthusiasm to chase down our dreams.

The mayhem shows up if we are ungrounded and unrealistic, allowing ourselves to be pulled too far into "fantasy-land."  

The secret today is to stay grounded and keep impeccable energetic boundaries.  Be careful of over-idealization, whether the object is a person or a dream or a situation.  It's important today to protect your energy as you are going to be more susceptible to taking on outside energies.  Cultivate confidence and your inner security and stay strong in that.

By Tuesday, Mars will be strong in its own sign of Aries, and we'll really be fired up to move forward.

The inner security you cultivate now is going to come in especially handy next week as Pluto stations retrograde in square to Venus.  As we move through this waning crescent moon week towards the May 7th Taurus new moon, we are releasing whatever came to light with the Scorpio full moon.  Venus square Pluto as Pluto stations retrograde is likely to bring up deeply held fears around being loved and valued, and it can come out as power and control dynamics in relationships.

I'll be talking more about this in the coming days, but for now, the everything is cultivating that inner security, because that's the medicine for today's Mars-Neptune alignment and any relationship wobbles over the coming week. 

It's all about you reclaiming your power and being in charge of your inner okay. 

That's where the gold is. 

That's where the peace is. 

That's where the love you want is. 

As within, so without.
