PictureTime to face the shadows!

Next weekend on Sunday, May 15th, the first eclipse portal of 2022, and the first one in a series on the Taurus/Scorpio axis, closes.

Keep reading to find out all about this eclipse and how it relates to the 4/30 new moon eclipse, where it's landing in your life, and how you can access its magic.

Find out what area of life this powerful full moon eclipse is landing in for you.

Scroll down to check out my guide below.
We opened the portal on April 30th with a light-bringing new moon eclipse sitting with Uranus in Taurus, with ruler Venus in Pisces in happy aspect to the north node, point of destiny.   The first week of the eclipse portal which followed was marked by aspects between sun, Mars, and Uranus, which brought fast-moving energy and not just insight to our desired direction but the motivation and courage (and maybe restlessness and impulsiveness) to go after it
This week's waxing gibbous moon keeps the urge to move towards fruition of our goals strong, and Jupiter joining Venus in Aries both lights and fire and brings opportunities in that area of our lives, but on Tuesday, Mercury stations retrograde, meaning we are going to be reworking, reviewing, and refining those new ideas and ways of thinking and expression that have come in in recent weeks.

This doesn't mean the insight we have recently opened to is wrong - it means we are going to dive a little deeper and take our time with it rather than running off half-cocked.  It means that what is forming in us now is important, and deserves more attention so we can bring it through into reality in its very best version.

This perspective is a good one to hang onto as we move through Sunday's full moon eclipse.  This upcoming full moon eclipse at 25 degrees Scorpio is a south node eclipse, meaning it is about the past and whatever is decreasing thus releasing.  It's a full moon in Scorpio, which always brings intensity.  Being an eclipse we can count that double.  Scorpio's modern ruler is Pluto, freshly retrograde in Saturn-ruled Capricorn, and its traditional ruler is Mars, which will be working behind the scenes sitting with Neptune in Pisces.  Both of Scorpio's rulers will be in aspect to this full moon eclipse, along with Saturn taking center stage in fixed sign square to this big event from Aquarius.

Saturn in square to this full moon eclipse means it might come with some sort of "no" in our lives that stings.  Saturn is about authority, rules, responsibility, maturity, and discipline.  Saturn in square ultimately is asking us to grow to make whatever it is in question stronger and more stable, but when it comes up, it feels harsh, restrictive, and oppressive and can have us feeling isolated, lonely, depressed, hopeless, negative, and pessimistic.  If we consider sun as ego and moon as emotions, we can see how a square from Saturn to both at the same time might feel unpleasant.  It's a strong event, and being on an eclipse, with lasting influence, but it IS passing, and it IS giving us what we need to grow and evolve into the next steps and next stage of the journey we are on.

Keep in mind that this will feel very personal to you if you have anything from around 23 to 28 degrees any of the fixed signs.  Otherwise it is a more general influence, or at least not so limiting and harsh-feeling.

Another thing to keep in mind is that both the "blessing-bringers," Venus and Jupiter, are now in Aries, so look to the house Aries rules in your chart to find what area of life the blessings are coming through over the next weeks.
The key with this full moon is to realize it is bringing growth and showing us what needs to be released to move forward.  The new moon eclipse on April 30th in Taurus was a north node eclipse.  It put us in touch with our desires and what we are yearning for in our lives especially in the way of how we enjoy life the everyday pleasures in life and feel resourced and stable.  It also was surrounded by a series of aspects that were "light-bringers," bringing the sorts of consciousness upgrades that take a bit to integrate.  Mercury stationing retrograde, Pluto already retrograde, and then Saturn in square to this full moon are checking us, saying "not so fast," you're not quite ready yet.  If we can show up for this Scorpio full moon eclipse square Saturn willing to acknowledge our shadows and take responsibility, we are going to have a much easier time moving through it.
