The Art of Consciously Creating Part 3:  Your Tool Box for Manifesting

2/9/2016

In 1999 Masaru Emoto published his first book of experimenting with water crystals by exposing them to different pictures, music and words and freezing them, Messages from Water 1.  The above photos show differences in the crystals that have been exposed to the different words, "love", "thank you" and "I hate you".  The photos show the vibration that the words and thoughts carry reflected in the water, giving us visual proof of the consequence that our thoughts and emotions carry.  We cannot manifest love or gratitude while we are carrying negative emotions and beliefs.  We cannot manifest the new while we are stuck in the old.

In Part 1, we met the magical creature within, meaning we delved into what makes us uniquely ourselves, what our deepest hearts desires are and what we feel guided to contribute to the world.

In Part 2, we discussed the Law of Attraction and how powerful our minds really are, and how to focus our attention on what we want, eliminate limiting beliefs, and replace them with beliefs that support our desired experience.

Now that you've aligned with something you truly desire, and you've harnessed the Universe to work for you by clearing powerful subconscious beliefs that limit you and adopting new beliefs that support you, its time to get out the manifestation tool box.

We already know you are a magical creature who is now aligned with the power of the Universe, so of course you have the power of manifestation!

Manifestation
  • : a sign that shows something clearly
  • : one of the forms that something has when it appears or occurs

Manifestation is only seeing the outward results of the inner changes.  One naturally follows the other.  Remember that the key to success here lies in being able to identify your truest and most authentic desires that are not colored by "shoulds" or fears of any kind, and that you must align with the vibration, the feeling energy, of what it is you are wanting to obtain or achieve.  The inner changes you are making in order to be in alignment with these things will bring the outer changes that will be your results.  It is also very important to remember that the becoming aware of negative or limiting beliefs and replacing them with positive supportive beliefs is an ongoing process in the upward cycle.  To constantly create we must constantly release.

So what are the tools that support the manifestation of your intentions?  Affirmations, vision boards, belief boxes, working with lunar cycles, ritual, and adopting a muse are some great ones to get you started.

The Manifestation Toolbox:
  • Affirmations:  In Part 2, we discussed the importance of becoming aware of limiting beliefs.  When a limiting belief is found, the best way to break its hold is to replace it with a new supportive belief, which is generally the opposite of the original negative belief.  It could be as simple as going from "I'm not loved" to "I am loved", or it could be something more complex like "I can't get my needs met" to "I create a new life with new rules that supports me" (which is a pretty great all-encompassing affirmation from Louise Hay).  The new affirmation is creating a new thought habit.  It is redirecting the thought process from the old way to the new way, so it needs to be focused on intently for a period of time, at the very least 21 days but 30 days or even 90 days is better (just think about how long you've been running the old program).  There are many ways to do affirmations but the main goal is to completely saturate the brain with the new thought consistently over a period of time.  You can write them out, or say them in your head or out loud to yourself throughout the day, you can use mala beads and repeat them, or you can record them and listen to them.  If you know self-hypnosis, you can put yourself in a hypnotic state where the subconscious mind is even more accepting of new ideas and say them to yourself while in that state.  The important thing is to create a new thought habit which takes repetition.  And don't do more than a couple at a time, or if you're working on something really big, keep it to just one.
  • Vision Boards:  Vision boards are a great tool for helping to align the subconscious mind with the conscious will.  The subconscious mind speaks in images and symbolism. Think about dream imagery. Dreams are the domain of the subconscious mind.  To make a vision board, you simply cut out pictures that represent what your goals, desires and intentions are and paste them on a board and put them where you can see them everyday.  There are a few key points here.  1) As stated in Part 1, you need to be very clear on your desires.  2) The finding and clipping of the pictures and then the elimination process to get to the final ones that are actually going on it is a big part of the process.  As you stay focused on what your actual desire is and how the pictures represent it, you are actually fine-tuning your desires.  This is a really important part of the process.  Once you've eliminated the ones you don't want, you are left with a visual representation of your truest desires that speaks to your subconscious mind.  3) You need to be able to see it every day, preferably throughout the day.  This is like a visual road map for your subconscious mind, the part of you that can align with things in the outside world synchronistically, so it needs to be able to reference that map often in order to work efficiently.
  • Belief Boxes: A belief box is a small box full of little slips of paper with beliefs you want to adopt written on them.  This can be any box and you can decorate it or it can be whatever you want.  You choose the beliefs you want to work with, write them out on small slips of paper and put them in the box and then pull one and focus on it.  Remember it takes 21 days to form a habit and a belief is never set until you take physical action from the emotional place of that belief, so you don't want to rush through them.  One a month would be ideal.
  • Working with Lunar Cycles:  Lunar cycles are a continuous cycle of setting intentions, building, realization, and release, and are a great way to keep us on track each month about what we are growing and what we are releasing.  For more information about working with the lunar cycle, read my article, Lunar Cycles and Personal Transformation in 2016.
  • Ritual:  In my mind, a ritual can be anything that provides focus of intention.  If you are trying to clear something from your life, you might write it and burn it.  If you are trying to grow something, you might write it and fold it up and plant it in a pot with some seeds.  You might select a candle to infuse with your intentions and represent them and burn it. The point is to do something that helps you focus on your intent.
  • Adopting a Muse:  A muse is a source of inspiration.  Who, or even what, inspires you to stay focused on your intentions and what you are creating, even when it's difficult and you aren't seeing immediate results?  Is there a person that has a achieved something you admire, or you admire the traits of, or is there a god or goddess that it is inspiring for you to align with the energies of?  Maybe there's a song, a book, or a piece of poetry that helps align you with your intent?  Find it and use it!

These are all tools available to help keep you on track in focusing on your intent and manifesting your desires.  There is a lot in life that can distract you and pull you off course.  These tools are reminders of where you want to consciously direct your energies. To consciously create is to be in a constant state of being aware of what truly sets your heart ablaze, acknowledging that you are unique and special and that you are powerful a creator, becoming aware of negative and limiting patterns and beliefs that are blocking you, replacing them with new beliefs, and constantly aligning with the vibration of your goals and desires.  You are constantly creating and constantly releasing, always spiraling upward towards your heart's desire, always manifesting.
