Successfully Navigating the Energies from the 9/20 Full Moon & Equinox to the 10/20 Full Moon, 2021: Keep the Faith!

Happy Equinox!

The September 20th Pisces full moon landed just two days before equinox (marked by the sun arriving at zero degrees Libra) on September 22nd.

This full moon was a culmination of the past six months, since the mid-March new moon in Pisces.  What has come to pass in your life over these past six months that began around March 13th (just before the Aries equinox and the astrological new year (new moon in Aries).   What are you bringing to completion and honoring now having to do with Pisces energy that includes healing, compassion, forgiveness, dissolving, unity, and spirituality/creativity?  (Hint:  the house Pisces rules in your natal chart will tell you what area of life this completion is happening in for you personally.)

Equinox is when light and dark, day and night, come into balance.  This is a magical gateway that happens twice a year, when, for just a brief moment, everything comes into perfect balance and time seems to stand still.  

This equinox this year, however, is extra special, as it is a gateway opening us to the waves of change coming from now until mid-January that will carry us forward into 2021.  (Check out my short video overview of these waves of change and the four distinct segments they are coming in here.)

Last month's success spread (for the 8/22 full moon to the 9/20 full moon) was about releasing what we did not wish to carry forth in preparation for passing through the equinox gateway into the coming months of transition.

This month's reading has a simple theme:  keep the faith.  

Like I mentioned above, the equinox gateway is opening us to rolling waves of change, that little by little, week by week, are carrying us forth into the new, and it is coming in four distinct parts.  

From now until the October 20th full moon, we need to hold the line and trust as the shifts begin to take place.

Like a seed that is beginning to unfurl under the protection of the dark, fertile, soil, we just know that it is happening, even though we do not yet see the green shoots emerging.

What the Cards Are Saying About the Coming Month:

​Overview:  Keep the faith!  This month is calling for us to remain solidly seated upon the thrones of our hearts, wise and loving rulers of our realms.  No drama.  Be the one who lights the wise way through challenges ~ an example of emotional maturity and energetic mastery.  Return to the daily routines and spiritual practices that hold you when faced with blocks and feeling stuck.  Focus on self-care.  Get rest when needed.  Feed your soul, recharge, and get inspired again.  This may mean reassessing priorities and dropping the juggling act.  Trust that all is in divine right order and unfolding in divine right timing.

Card 1:  King of Cups.  Card 1 gives us the overview of the situation for the coming month. The King of Cups reminds us to stay solidly seated upon the thrones of our hearts as wise and loving rulers of our realms.  This card is about emotional mastery and tells us the situation at hand is calling for us to navigate any challenges this month brings from a place of emotional maturity and wise leadership.

Card 1: The Situation: King of Cups

Card 2: Current Complications: 2 of Swords

Card 2:  2 of Swords.  Card 2 shows us what is currently complicating the situation.  The 2 of Swords represents an impasse or block in the realm of air ~ ideas, communication, understanding, expression.  Somehow, we are unable to see the whole picture or the whole truth of a situation.  We may be unsure of what direction to go, or having difficulties seeing eye to eye with another on a matter.  This has blocked our forward progress.  Sometimes it is about just taking a baby step in any direction to get moving again ~ like when riding a bicycle, many times it is easier to maneuver once we are in motion ~ just getting going again allows veils to be lifted and the way forward to appear.

Card 3:  Knight of Pentacles, Reversed.  Card 3 reveals the hidden factors affecting the situation.  The Knight of Pentacles reversed speaks to feeling stuck or blocked and unable to move forward.  This knight of earth is all about getting things done on the material plane, routine, goal-setting, and clear action steps.  However, maybe there is too much rigidity and so much achievement-oriented earth-vibe is killing the creative fires and draining life force.  This card suggests the need for refueling to keep the flames of inspiration and motivation burning bright.

Card 3: Hidden Factors: Knight of Pentacles (R)

Card 4: Allies: 2 of Pentacles (R)

Card 4:  2 of Pentacles, Reversed.  Card 4 is the card of the allies ~ the places, things, and people from which we are getting assistance and support.  The 2 of Pentacles reversed tells us to look to dialing down distractions and focusing on only our highest priorities now.  We must "sharpen the saw," in the words of Stephen Covey.  It's time to reassess priorities and cut out any energy leaks that steals time from what's of most importance to us.  This is not the time to try and be everything to everyone.  Focus on self-care first ~ you are your number one resource ~ if you burn out, then what? 

Card 5:  The Star XVII, Reversed.  For Card 5 shows us the pathway to success for the next month (9/20 to 10/20).  The Star reversed suggests we are experiencing a test of faith.  Keep the faith now!  As card 1, King of Cups, suggests, stay solidly seated upon your throne, wise and loving ruler of your realm.  Know that the Universe is conspiring in your favor, behind the scenes, stand firm in your truth, and hold that line.  All is in divine right order and unfolding in divine right timing.
