Pluto Stations Retrograde 2° Aquarius:  Remember the Truth of Who You Are.

Time to take your power back and reclaim your throne.

What's that? Do you hear that barely perceptible rumbling? 

Can you feel it beneath your feet? 

Something deep within is stirring, and it's Pluto stationing retrograde, opening a portal to your shadowlands, your underworld.

It all seems intimidating and imposing, I know; Hades and his black chariot and horses thundering out of a crack in the earth to snatch up sweet Persephone.  But just there's nothing to fear.  Just like Persephone, all you need to do is remember the truth of who you really are.

You see Hades had to abduct Persephone, because she was the one with the powerful lineage and claim to the throne of the Underworld.  She was the daughter of the great goddess Demeter, who came from a lineage of great goddesses, and Demeter had denied Hades Persephone's hand in marriage.

Persephone just didn't know her own value, her own power...yet...as she had lived her entire life in the shadow of her mother.

Hades needed Persephone to truly rule the Underworld, just like the pharaohs of Egypt sat on the throne of the great goddess Isis, just like Celtic kings needed the blessing of the goddess of that land or territory to legitimately rule.

No one can take your power away without your permission.

When Pluto is retrograde, as it will be until October 11th, it is a time to reclaim your power, to destroy that which would destroy you.

Pluto's message is simple:  let go.

Stop engaging with people and situations that bring out the worst in you.

If someone is manipulative and controlling, it's time to walk away.

If you are the one being manipulative or controlling, it's also time to walk away.

Drop it, leave it.

If it's a bad habit or addiction that's stealing your power, no matter what form it shows up in - a substance, a person, a relationship - it's time to be done with it.  It's time to reclaim your power.  It's time to remember who you truly are.

Pluto rules our underworlds, it rules our shadows - our pain, our fear, our insecurities.

When we are manipulative or controlling, it is because we are insecure.

And you will never gain security by attempting to control others or situations.  It just doesn't work that way.  You end up in a downward spiral, your shadows locked together in an eternal battle.  It's a lose-lose situation.  The only solution is to let go.  That's the only way to reclaim your power.  When you do that, you will also regain control over your own okay and start creating inner security.  That's when the magic happens, because like attracts like.  Then you'll start attracting win-wins, not lose-loses.

From today until September 2nd, Pluto will be retrograde in Aquarius.  Then from September 2nd until October 11th, Pluto will be retrograde in Capricorn one last time.  

Pluto stations direct in Capricorn on October 11th, and then returns to Aquarius for good on November 20th.  (It won't be back in Capricorn for over two centuries!)

Use the first phase of this Pluto retrograde, now through August, while it is in Aquarius, to better understand the true motives driving your need to push forward in life.  Pluto landed in Aquarius on January 20th and began a new 20 year cycle.  Aquarius is the Uranus-ruled sign of innovation and future-oriented progress.  Now is the time to make sure you are soul-aligned and heart-centered and not being driven by a need for power based in  fear or insecurity.

Then from September until Pluto stations direct on October 11th with Pluto backtracking in Capricorn, switch gears and tap into Capricorn's practicality and love of systems to develop your strategy for moving forward towards your goals come October 11th when Pluto stations direct.

In relationships, this is going to be about creating inner security and reclaiming your power from the fears of being not lovable and not valuable that keep you looking for external validation - and giving your power away, putting your precious "okay" always in the hands of others - of other humans on their own journey. 

Your "okay" is too precious to leave to them.  Let them be them, don't put that burden on those you love.  We're all human, none of us are perfect.  Be responsible for your own "okay."

When you do this, love can change right before your eyes.

And if it doesn't, you're the one in charge of your okay, you are in your personal power, and you walk away when you aren't respected because you respect yourself.

Pluto's lessons are always about letting go and being in your inner power, not trying to feel powerful by controlling things outside of you. 

When Pluto is activated, and you are unwilling to let go and walk away, you're always going to lose, and things can get really, really ugly - ruthless, abusive, traumatic.  And the only reason you wouldn't walk away is that you don't believe that you are worthy of something better.  

Venus squaring up to Pluto this week as Pluto stations retrograde is the value check, then Pluto retrograde until October 11th is the review and rewire.
