Jupiter-Uranus Conjunct in Taurus April 20th, 2024: A New Cycle Begins

The Jupiter-Uranus conjunction has arrived!  This new cycle beginning (think:  expansion, growth, and innovation in the realm of resources and earthly abundance) is being made all the more potent by a boost from bold Mars in idealistic Pisces.  

We've been doing big work since around the March equinox around sense of self, identity, and self-value, and now it's time to boldly go where we haven't dared go before - it's time to transcend those upper limits and expand into a new level of love and abundance in our lives.

I just have one question:  have you created the strong roots and foundation to make this expansion sustainable for you?

This alignment is the beginning of a new 14-year-long Jupiter-Uranus cycle.  The last time these two came together was in Aries, the next time will be in Gemini.  

But there's another larger cycle beginning, and that's the 80-year-long cycle of Jupiter and Uranus aligning in Taurus, specifically.  The last time this happened in Taurus was during World War II, which is interesting, considering what's going on in world events right now.

Taurus is the Venus-ruled sign of earthly abundance - it's about enjoying life through the five senses and feeling resourced - secure through material possessions and our access to resources.  

Jupiter expands. It's a planet of growth, fueled by belief and optimism.

Uranus is a change-bringer.  Many times it does this by bringing sudden and unexpected disruption.  

As we move through this astrological event, we can watch this energy play out both on the world stage and in our own lives.

Remember - it's all energy - it's neither good nor bad.  But nature will always return to balance - if there is burst of expansion, there is likely to be contraction coming, just like winter follows summer.  Yet it's always happening on a great upward spiral, it's just at such a massive scale it's hard for us to truly perceive it.

As always, I'm bringing this back to how you can work with this on a personal level.

So, what creates expansion and growth that is SUSTAINABLE?

The proper foundation!

The taller the tree, the deeper the roots need to be, right?

My guess is, you've been working on those roots for months now, preparing for this, whether you realize it or not.  The astrology has been preparing you for this - especially since equinox.

That's why I'm saying, "If you've been waiting on permission to shine, this is your green light!"

To truly harness the gifts available now with this energy, take a cue from the sign this is happening in, Taurus, and its ruler Venus, and work on those strong roots:

~ Tune into your true values and align with those.
~ Get solidly seated upon your inner throne by stepping into your inherent worth.
~ Make sure you are coming through your heart.
~ Cultivate a sense of inner security & always being supported & resourced.
~ ID & actively shift any programs running around lack - I'm not enough, not enough time, not enough for me, not enough to go around, etc.

The other part of working with this is tapping into Jupiter's trust, optimism, faith, and belief, so you can embrace the change Uranus is offering (or use it in your favor when it unexpectedly shows up in your life).

If we haven't done the "root" work - cultivating our sense of worth and deservingness, healing limiting beliefs, and developing that strong foundation of inner security, trust, and knowing, we might experience a shift in the moment, then simply snap back into the old default patterns.

This goes for both our ability to be resourced and supported in this world materially, and in our ability to get the love and relationships we want.  These two are forever energetically  woven together because they are both ruled by Venus, the Divine Feminine. 

Venus rules the Law of Attraction in our lives - our ability to energetically align with our desires and thus attract and receive them without sabotaging or upper limiting ourselves.

This conjunction is ruled by Venus because it's happening in Venus' sign of Taurus.

And we know that Venus has been in Aries helping us heal old self-value issues.

Remember that this is only the beginning of two major cycles - one that lasts 14 years and one that lasts 80 years.  I've said it before and I'll say it again:  the day you plant the seed is not the day you harvest the fruit.  

Right now you are at various stages of others cycles of your life - you might be also experiencing a Saturn return (around ages 27 and 58) or a Uranus opposition along with the halfway mark of your 2nd Saturn cycle (mid-40's).

This marks yet another layer, but it's a potent one, as Jupiter and Uranus coming together in Taurus, in this area of your life, will only happen today in your entire lifetime.

We've been feeling this climax building all week.  I know many of you, myself included, have been feeling "ascension symptoms."  This is energy that's bringing awakening, upleveling, and ascension to those who are ready.  We always have conscious choice, and there are others who will not feel this, not notice, just blow right through it with nothing changed.

Since you are reading this, you have the opportunity to use this energy to expand beyond the old consciousness, beyond previous limits, and step into a new energetic dimension, no matter what area of life this is coming to you through, no matter what's coming up for you now, whether it's about family or career or money or relationships or children.

That depends on the house or area of life Taurus rules in your natal chart.

It doesn't matter, because when you shift in one area, you will experience a shift throughout your life - it's all energy.
