This week we are in the waxing gibbous moon, building to Sunday's powerful south node full moon eclipse in Scorpio, pulling in Saturn, Neptune, Mars, and ruler Pluto. That means intensity is building all week. With it being an eclipse portal week, moving to culmination, it's more important than ever to stay focused on what you are for. By that I mean connecting to the energetic vibration of that beautiful "Future You" that has achieved the desires you are working on now, finding that vibe in the now, and literally generating it, in the face of whatever "what is" comes up. Be the master of your destiny now. The multiverse is listening and the language it speaks is energy. Your fear, your joy, your emotions - they create your vibration. And you will get exactly whatever vibe you hold most strongly and consistently. Change is in the air. Step into your creative power, authority, and leadership by choosing your vibration. This week overall won't feel as fast-paced and electric as last week because we are out of the sun-Mars-Uranus aspects AND Mercury is stationing retrograde, but it may feel equally intense in other ways as we move to the big climax of the coming full moon eclipse.
The April 16th full moon in Libra was square Pluto, and this one is taking the Pluto/Scorpio themes and running with them. Every full moon I do a 5 card tarot reading for successfully navigating from full moon to full moon. (I choose the full moon because it's the point of most light on the subconscious and visibility.) The first card in that reading from 4/16 to 5/15 was Death, telling us that our main objective for the month was to face those things that keep us trapped - habits, limiting beliefs, addictions. The reading also warned that although we were going to have some wins, we weren't quite through the challenges yet, so to stay vigilant and not take that victory lap just yet. Check out the one minute tarot video for the month ending 5/15 here. With next weekend's big Scorpio full moon on deck being challenged by Saturn and with Pluto and Mars in play, we can bet we are going to be facing those shadows - and it's a chance for truly releasing what no longer serves and regenerating ourselves anew if we are willing to go there. Waxing gibbous moons (from the last quarter moon to the full moon) are always times of being driven to reach our goals and push to fruition. Expect that to be even stronger since this is a Pluto-fueled full moon eclipse that we are moving toward. Monday and Saturday both feature void moons for the majority of each day - if you can schedule down time, these are excellent days for it. These are great for catching up on to-do's, self-care, and rest. Making time to catch up for yourself scores the biggest these days. Early Tuesday morning, Mercury stations retrograde until 6/3 - heads up Monday and Tuesday around schedules, communications, technology, travel/commutes, and appliances - things get glitchy when the trickster and messenger is stationing. (If you've got anything at 4 degrees Gemini or in the mutable signs, I'm especially talking to you!) Then, same day in the evening (always MDT), Tuesday 5/10, Jupiter enters Aries, bringing a big vibe shift from water to fire, from the last sign of the zodiac to the first. Jupiter joining Venus in Mars-ruled Aries will (that means gifts and blessings, respectively) will have us feeling extra fired up now. What house does Aries rule for you? That's where this dynamic duo is coming through in your life. *Note that Jupiter is already in its retrograde shadow - it will turn retrograde end of July at 8 degrees until Thanksgiving. Tuesday and Wednesday, the waxing moon transits Virgo, and Thursday/Friday, it's in Libra, meaning what feels good will be organization, routine, health, cleanliness, and being of service, and cooperation, partnership, harmony, and beauty, respectively.
