Mercury Retrograde Dreaming: White Owl - The Spirit Messenger

A few nights ago in a dream a white owl flew to me.

A white owl is a known spirit messenger.  But owls are typically associated with the feminine, the moon, and night time.  In my dream, this owl was white, and flew to me through the open right-side car window, while I was riding in the car with lush green mountains on my left and the ocean on my right, midday, under bright rays of sunshine.

The right side of the body is the masculine.  The right is also associated with the future. The sun represents the light of consciousness. Owls are associated with wisdom and knowledge. The color white adds the connotation of spirituality and prophecy.  A message from spirit of a very specific kind is indicated.

With the lush green mountains on the left, and the left side being the feminine, and the ocean on the right with the right being the masculine, I immediately think of the current astrology featuring Venus in Taurus and the sun in Pisces.

With Mercury having been retrograde in Pisces since February 16th, but about to turn direct in Aquarius with the full moon in Virgo, prophetic dreams are a definite possibility - messages from spirit coming through in dreams is so Mercury retro in Pisces, and that coming to consciousness is very much Mercury direct in Aquarius.

Whatever more specific meaning this dream might hold  remains to be seen, and it will no doubt unfold as the astrological events of the coming days (full moon in Virgo with sun conjunct Neptune in Pisces Monday March 9th at 11:47 a.m. MDT, and then on Monday evening at 9:48 p.m. MDT, Mercury direct in Aquarius) reveal new insight.
