When we move through eclipse portals (the two weeks between eclipses) we experience major completions and new beginnings in our lives - some doors are closing while others are opening....
It is just like stepping over a threshold - when we are in the eclipse portal, we are standing on the threshold between two doors, between two chapters of our lives - in the in-between. All eclipse portals bring change, but this one has special blessings in store, as it is book-ended by an eclipse in Taurus, ruled by Venus, and an eclipse in Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter. Venus and Jupiter are the two blessing- and gift-bringers of the planets in astrology. On top of this, this eclipse portal is our set up for Venus' magical retrograde in Capricorn and month-long regenerative hook-up with Pluto, and the north node into Venus' own sign of Taurus for eighteen months starting in January. In short, this eclipse is conjuring potent Earth Magick, and this is our time to harness it in our lives. |

As this eclipse portal opens with the full moon eclipse in fixed sign Taurus, and ruled by goddess of desires, Venus, on November 19th, it is perfect for making that all-important decision that will change everything. You know the one ~ what is that thing that you want so much it is almost scary; the one that feels like it is asking for too much; the one that you keep putting off and making excuses about.... During this time you get to clearly name your desires and lock in your intentions and have the Universe fully support you in calling in your desires. This is the magick that makes this eclipse so potent. |

Over these two weeks, we will focus on three key pieces to manifesting through this eclipse portal:
1. Name your desires. Get specific on what you want now and call it by name into your reality. 2. Release the blocks to your desires. Naming what you are for brings up all that isn't in alignment - this two week waning moon portal is the time to finally let what has been holding you back drop away once and for all. 3. Plant your desires in the form of potent seeds of intention. When we plant a seed in the earth, in the proper environment for it to grow, we give it the cue to go, to grow, to take root and produce fruit. Once we have chosen the type of fruit we want, and thus the type of seed we are planting, and cleared the weeds from the garden that might compete with it for energy and nutrients, the final step is to plant it. We are doing the same thing with our seeds of intention that will bear the fruit of our desires. |
