Moon Phase Key *Waxing Crescent Moon
The waxing crescent moon is the week from the new moon until the first quarter moon when we anchor and root into our new moon intentions. While the two week waxing moon phase as a whole is a time of cultivation and growth, this first week of it up until the first quarter choice point is specifically the time to focus on nurturing your new ideas and intentions, and yourself - your vessel of creation for bringing your newfound inspiration into being in reality. **Waxing Gibbous Moon
The waxing gibbous moon is the week from the first quarter moon until the full moon when we push toward fruition. This week, as the lunar energy grows to climax, we are supported in taking action towards our goals and desires. It's "go time!" ***Waning Gibbous Moon
The waning gibbous moon is the week from the full moon until the last quarter moon when we ease up and integrate what has been brought to light with the illumination of the full moon. This is when we "harvest," and it is the time for practicing appreciation and gratitude for what we have and sharing our abundance generously with others. ****Waning Crescent Moon
The waning crescent moon is the final week of the waning moon from the last quarter moon until the new moon. This is a time of rest in preparation for regeneration with the coming new moon. It's time to trust that we are enough, there is enough, it is enough, and allow ourselves to receive the gifts of stillness and release. Dark Moon
(The 2 days before the new moon.) (The last part of the waning crescent.) The dark moon is the final two to three days preceding the new moon, and the deepest diving and most inward turning point of the waning moon and the lunar cycle. This is when we have the opportunity to supercharge the coming new moon regeneration by sinking into the solace of solitude and creating safe space in ourselves and lives for deep release. The dark moon is about being, not doing. "Dark moon cocoon." Nurture body and spirit with self-care and solitude, lavish yourself with space, time, allowance, and permission. This is potent magic. |
